I think one of the most popular places you could visit in Romania is the Voronet monastery. Also, you could go and see the Merry Cemetery from Sapanta (this could be a "revival" of our Dacian ancestors' beliefs, including the fact that death is just a normal step in our - let's say - spiritual journey).
